Jenny & Aaron & I met downtown Grand Rapids for some engagement pictures on a sunny April day. With no plan, we set out….I love no plan 🙂

Rock on! See you in a few months for the wedding!

We met out at Johnson Park in Grandville to get some photos of them snow shoeing and enjoying the winter wonderland that is Michigan in February. Notice the collage photo and in the 3rd frame of it you can see exactly what Melissa is thinking….TRIP! After the winter session we headed over to their house to warm up with adult beverages and a new change of clothes 🙂 Heading out downtown Grand rapids for more engagement photos we made our way around town and ended up at Big O’s cafe for an excellent meal and great conversation. Way excited for the wedding at Snow Moon Ranch later this year!

I met Ben and Janelle downtown for a hot and humid engagement session. Pulling out a vintage suitcase and classic classic clothes, these two looked fabulous. Thanks for bringing your ideas and an open mind!

Enjoy 🙂

“Dusty Brown started his photography career as a commercial and advertising photographer more than 15 years ago. After discovering his love for shooting weddings, Dusty decided to make the transition to become a full-time wedding photographer. Adding Seniors and family portraits along the way was a natural progression. These days, Dusty likes to keep the amount of weddings to around 20 per year. This keeps his creativity fresh and his love for it strong. He usually photograph 50-70 Seniors each year and around 20-40 family session….including babies. Advertising photography is still a huge part of Dusty’s career doing 15-30 jobs each year.

Last week Jaelene, Gar and myself headed downtown Grand Rapids for an engagement session. Its a blast to do engagement sessions and there is something a bit more interesting when we do them in the winter here in Grand Rapids. Yep as you can see we even went ice skating! Total riot with these two. Thanks again and we will see you both very soon!

Back before the snow came, Abi and Greg and I met out in Holland to do an engagement session around the town and out at Holland Beach. Nice and casual and great fun! I have these on our facebook fan page but with the new blog and new website it slipped by a blog post until now.
